River Run Network Restoration Workshop: Sabino Canyon Arroyo Rock Dams

Spend a Saturday at the beloved Sabino Canyon Visitor Center area! Join us Saturday, December 21 from 9am to 12pm.

At this restoration workshop you’ll learn how to observe the flow of water across the landscape, identify options to address soil erosion issues, and how to stage for and build rock erosion control structures (one rock dams) to heal our desert arroyos. Come help us restore our creeks and have a fun time doing so!

This is part of a larger restoration project to slow and sink water to enhance the health of lower Sabino Creek. Stay tuned for additional workshops in Spring 2025.
