River Run Network Creek Walk: Stroll through Sabino and Tanque Verde Creek Confluence

Get out for a special creekwalk with Lisa Shipek, WMG's Executive Director and start your weekend exploring one of our lush riparian areas. We hope to see flow during this creek walk, so wear clothes and shoes you'd be comfortable getting a bit wet! We'll walk upstream along Sabino Creek, weaving through the sandy floodplain, shallow waters, and cottonwood forest. Learn more about what this area would have looked like historically and what you can do to help restore groundwater levels and regular flows.
