Join the Flow365 Monitoring Program! - Support Community Science in our City
The River Run Network is looking for passionate community members in Tucson and surrounding areas to help monitor flow in our creeks and rivers through our Flow365 Monitoring Program.
At this training, Lauren Knight, WMG’s River Run Network Program Manager, will share our inspiring 50-year vision for flowing rivers, introduce you to the River Run Network, explaining how your involvement plays a critical role in helping WMG, the City, and the County protect and restore river flows across our watershed.
By attending this training, you'll officially join our volunteer monitoring team. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one year of monitoring a site of their choice. Monitoring involves checking your site 1–4 times a month during dry seasons, and at least weekly during rainy seasons. This community-generated data is one-of-a-kind—no one else is tracking local river flow like this. Your observations directly contribute to our efforts to measure and advance river restoration in our region.
This event is organized through the River Run Network. If you are not yet a member, we will add you to the Network when you register for this event. RRN membership is free and gives you access to exclusive creek walks, river restoration workshops, river clean-ups, and advocacy opportunities.
