Community Workshop: Planting Shade at Phoenix College

Planting low water use shade trees provides multiple benefits to our community. Join this community workshop planting native shade trees in partnership with the Walton Sustainability Teachers’ Academy and Watershed Management Group, Phoenix College. You learn about the benefits of native plants and how to plant them for success. This garden will increase the shade potential of the surrounding area, addressing the extreme heat felt throughout the year.
