Watershed Management Group Open House

Are you looking for ways to make a positive impact with your local community and environment? We invite you to get more involved with Watershed Management Group as a dedicated volunteer. At our Open House event, staff and board members will share more about volunteer opportunities including Board service, the Docent program, the River Run Network, and other opportunities to engage at our Living Lab and out in the community. Finger foods and refreshments will be served. 

Through our volunteer programs, you will help advance these major initiatives:

• Shifting to be a hydro-local community, stewarding and valuing local water resources
• Restoring our heritage of flowing desert rivers and expanding our riparian forests
• Advancing our Cool Tucson 5 degrees initiative through new educational workshops and strategic partnerships
• Centering engagement and learning with Black, Indigenous, Latinx, LGBTQ+, and disabled community members
