See what it takes to install a simple rain tank system and rain garden! We'll be installing a 1,100-gallon rain tank which will overflow into a rain garden. Participants will learn about materials for setting up the rainwater inflow and overflow of the tank, the basics of creating basins and berms, and will help plant a variety of native plants which will provide shade and benefits to our local ecosystem. This is a great introduction for anyone wanting to get ideas for what they can do to utilize rainwater at their home or in a community space.
