Become a WMG Docent: Info & Meet-Up Social - July 17

Join us for an engaging evening to explore the unique opportunities available through our Docent Volunteer Program. This event is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about environmental stewardship and eager to make a positive impact in our community. Here’s what you can expect at this Info & Meet-Up Social:

  • Introduction to the Docent Program: Learn about the vital role our docents play in promoting water conservation, restoring local rivers, and fostering stewardship of our precious water resources.
  • Tour of the Living Lab: Experience our urban demonstration site where innovative sustainable practices are showcased.
  • Meet & Greet: Connect with current docents, WMG staff, and like-minded individuals who share your passion for water in the Sonoran Desert.
  • Refreshments: Enjoy light snacks and beverages while mingling and discussing conservation efforts.
  • Informational Session: Gain insights into the training, duties, and responsibilities of a WMG docent, and discover how your skills and interests can align with our volunteer opportunities.

We are always seeking bilingual English and Spanish speakers to help expand our educational offerings and support our Spanish-speaking community. Your language skills can make a significant difference in broadening our outreach and making our programs more accessible.

¡Necesitamos personas bilingües que hablen inglés y español! Siempre estamos buscando ampliar nuestra oferta de educación y tú nos puedes ayudar con eso al apoyarnos en la comunicación e involucración en español.
