Calling all beaver believers new and old, to join this year’s Beavers and Brews immersive experience. We’ll gather at the Living Lab on Tuesday, September 24th, to eat, drink, dive into river restoration, and get informed on the latest beaver projects. Not only will we be sharing the results of our 3rd annual beaver survey, we’ll be learning about the beaver reintroduction in Ciénega Creek planned for next year. Our Learning Center will be transformed into a riparian habitat, with the sights and sounds of Mattie Canyon and Cienega Creek, showcasing photos of the habitat where beavers will be released.
The drinks will be on point, fit for a special Tuesday night, with Maui Brewing serving up beer, Whiskey del Bac making beaver-themed cocktails, and Maya Tea keeping us refreshed. Come with your appetite to try some local fare food trucks including Bashful Bandit Barbeque.
This is a night not to miss at WMG’s hydro-local Living Lab, so bring a friend, family, or significant other to spread the word and build our beaver believer community.
Give to our Release the Beavers Campaign and Take Home Limited Edition Prints
If you give a dam about restoring healthy rivers and beaver populations, we invite you to make a donation when you purchase your ticket. Everyone who gives $100 or more can take home one of our limited edition photo prints of Mattie Canyon and Cienega Creek. These gorgeous large-print photos taken by local photographer Julius Schlosburg will transport you to the magical wetlands of Southern Arizona.
All donations help us reach our goal of raising $100,000 for our summer fundraising campaign.
Tickets
Advance tickets are $25 per person and include two drinks (tickets at the door are $35).
