A visionary donor has offered WMG a challenge match—pledging $30,000 in matching funds for any donations made this summer. We still have $14,000 to raise to meet our match, and our goal is to raise $7,000 this week. In celebration of being water people, you’re cordially invited to Once Upon a Creek: the Sabino Story at the Living Lab & Learning Center on September 17th. We have seen an incredible outpouring of interest from community partners and local residents since launching our campaign to restore Sabino Creek last spring. We’re working with a group of dynamic leaders on a comprehensive restoration plan, organizing on-the-ground actions, and creating a public campaign to rally the community to action. Please join us to celebrate the history of Sabino Creek and help craft a new story that defines a better, wetter future for Sabino.
