Building Rain Gardens with Native Edibles / Haciendo Jardines de Lluvia con Plantas Comestibles Nativas
October 19th, 2024 | 9:00am-12:00pm
Bring the whole family to learn about using native food plants to build rain gardens. Participate in a 1 hour workshop to learn about native edible trees, shrubs, and seasonal plants, and how they can be supported by rainwater harvesting. Those who complete the workshop can take home a native food kit, including a native tree, native shrub, seed packet, and mulch. Please indicate when you register if you'd like to take home a kit (limited one kit per household).
Traiga a toda la familia para aprender cómo utilisando plantas comestibles nativos para construir jardines de lluvia. Participe en un taller de 1 hora para aprender sobre árboles, arbustos y plantas de temporada y cómo pueden beneficiarse de la recolección de agua de lluvia. Aquellos que completen el taller pueden llevarse a casa un kit de plantas comestibles nativos que incluye un árbol nativeo, un arbusto nativo, un paquete de semillas y mantillo. Por favor, indique cuando se registre si desea llevarse un kit a casa (un kit limitado por hogar).
