Join Our Team: Watershed Coordinator & Planning Lead

Watershed Management Group (WMG) and the Santa Cruz Watershed Collaborative (SCWC) are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to become our first full-time Watershed Coordinator & Planning Lead. If you have a love for environmental conservation, experience in water resources, and a talent for building partnerships, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advance Watershed Restoration: Implement SCWC’s restoration plan, organize biannual forums and field trips, and lead drought response initiatives.
  • Foster Collaboration: Work with diverse stakeholders including government agencies, non-profits, and Indigenous communities.
  • Grow Revenue: Develop grants, manage donor relationships, and track financials to support SCWC’s mission.
  • Promote Inclusion: Cultivate a culture of inclusion and consensus decision-making among SCWC partners.

Position Details:

  • Location: Tucson, AZ
  • Start Date: September 2024
  • Hours: Full-time (30-45 hours/week)
  • Salary: $50,000 - $68,000 annually (pro-rated for reduced hours)
