Join our Steward In Place BYOB event! Bring your own beer and learn from WMG’s Cultural Ecologist, Joaquin Murrieta how to build your own basin at home. During this happy hour event, Joaquin will show you how to take charge of your rainwater, by harvesting it! Joaquin will show off basins in his own backyard and walk you through step-by-step instructions on how you can build a simple rain-catching basin to irrigate plants, decrease flooding, and create beautiful habitat in your own yard.
Learn how, then do it yourself, and show us how it went! Plan to build your own basin Saturday or Sunday following BYOB. We’d love to see 25 or more of our River Run Network members building basins the weekend of May 2-3. Tag WMG with #StewardInPlace and #RiverRunNetwork on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter to show us your basin.
Join our Facebook event and spread the word!
