Three neighborhood projects received $13,640 in grants thanks to donations from C2E participants and donations through the Tucson Water bill checkbox. The C2E Advisory Board selected the following projects:
Palo Verde Neighborhood: Creating a neighborhood pocket park through rainwater harvesting features and planting native habitat
Jefferson Park Neighborhood: Capturing stormwater and reducing flooding along an urban waterway
Silverlake Park: Restoring native vegetation and improving wildlife habitat through improved wash management and new management strategies
Watershed Management Group is excited to be the project manager for the Palo Verde and Jefferson Park projects!
