200 people gathered at WMG's Living Lab on September 24th for our 6th annual Beavers and Brews event. We shared updates on the health of beaver populations along the San Pedro, discussed the planned Cienega Creek beaver reintroduction, and shared an immersive beaver experience with the sights, smells, and sounds of Cienega Creek. Check out our photo gallery below. If you missed the event, you can still get involved by joining our River Run Network, and learn more and participate in future river restoration events and our fall beaver survey.
Donations received through our Beavers and Brews event helped us raise funds for our summer fundaising campaign. Thanks to all of you who have contributed to our summer campaign so far and helped us raise $77,473 towards our $100,000 goal. Every drop counts, and we are so grateful for a strong community of volunteers, donors, and advocates working for the health of our watershed.
If you didn't get a chance to donate, you can still help us reach our goal by donating online here or sending a check in the mail to Watershed Management Group, 1137 N Dodge Blvd, Tucson AZ 85716.
