River Run Network Beautification Event: Clean Up Este Wash!

Saturday, August 7, 2021 - 7:00am to 9:00am
Este Wash runs through a neighborhood on the east side of Tucson, connected to the Pantano River—an important and beautiful part of our watershed. With our recent rains, the Pantano River has been flowing frequently this month! This flow will take more than water and mud downstream; trash also flows with it. We’re partnering with Mimi Conway, a River Run Network Member, to help her efforts to clean up Este Wash, making the area and our Pantano River a cleaner, greener place. So, join Mimi, her neighbors, and other River Run Network Members to pick up trash in the wash and share some love with our creeks and rivers!
This effort is supported by the River Run Network, a program of Watershed Management Group. If you are not yet a member, we will add you to the Network when you register for this event. RRN membership is free and includes a biweekly email with invitations to creek walks, family education events, river clean-ups, restoration workshops, and advocacy events to help restore our heritage of flowing rivers.
