Restoration Workshop: Rumble in the Pantano Jungle

Register
Friday, November 20th 7am - 12pm

Join Trevor Hare, WMG's Restoration Director and Luis Salgado, Green Infrastructure Coordinator, for an erosion control and riparian restoration project at the Pantano Jungle, along Cienega Creek in Pima County's Cienega Creek Natural Preserve near Vail. We will be constructing a large Zuni Bowl to arrest a large gully head cut. As a wildlife and riparian preserve the CCNP is home to an astonishing array of plants and animals, including lowland leopard frogs, Gila topminnows, turkeys, lions, bears and coatis. This will be a physically distanced, mask-on event. This event is limited to four people.
