New Field Studies series brings you closer to your sustainability goals

You are invited to join us for our newest series of classes in Tucson—Living Lab Field Studies—and experience WMG's Living Lab as your living laboratory. You'll learn sustainable desert living skills in a fun, hands-on experience, with access to working systems to improve soil health, care for your urban forest, grow a cornucopia of tasty Sonoran foods, and more.

Catlow Shipek will be kicking off this series on February 6, 2016 with a class on healthy soils. We’ll explore hydrology, soil structure, and more to help you realize the full, life-giving potential of this most basic element in your garden. Learn how kitchen scraps, plant trimmings, greywater, stormwater, and manures—typically considered waste—can bring your desert soil to life and promote a productive urban landscape in your own yard.

We’ll be following up with classes on Tree Pruning, Irrigation, and Native Food Production to round out your home gardening skills. These 2-3 hour sessions are just $30 each! Learn more and register online for all the classes in the series on our Field Studies page.

Hope to see you there!
