Join Trevor Hare, WMG Restoration Director, and Dr. Julia Rowe, Invasive Species Program Coordinator at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, for a virtual buffelgrass pull on Friday, July 10th, from 6-7pm. We will be on a site in the Tucson Mountains to talk about the ecology of this highly invasive and highly problematic grass, how it got here, and efforts at eradicating it. We will then demonstrate manual removal of a patch of the grass! We are hoping for 25 River Run Network households to sign up and take action with us for this event! If you haven't yet, we recommend you sign up for Monsoon Invasives Species: Take Action, you can use the knowledge you learn in this workshop and pull buffelgrass you find in your neighborhood.

When you register for this virtual event, you will receive the Zoom link instructions.

This is an event for River Run Network members. If you are not yet a member, we will add you to the Network when you register for this event. RRN membership is free and gives you access to exclusive creek walks, river restoration workshops, river clean-ups, and advocacy opportunities.
