In March 2016, WMG trained 25 city staff and design professionals from across the Phoenix Valley, supported by a grant from the Arizona State Forestry and the USDA Forest Service. Participants learned how to design and implement green infrastructure systems to support urban forests, and worked together to transform a parking lot median into a water-harvesting rain garden.
