Join us on Saturday, September 27th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM for an informative and hands-on workshop designed to get you rolling safely and confidently on your bike. Whether you're new to biking or bike occasionally, this two-hour session will cover essential safety tips, gear recommendations, and trip planning strategies to make bike riding a comfortable transportation choice for work, school, play, and errands. As part of our fall Sustainable Mobility series, this workshop will be led by WMG staff and docents who are avid cyclists familiar with commuting around Tucson by bike!
After participating in the workshop, you can take home a free bike helmet and u-lock thanks to our partner Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PCDEQ). Bring your bike, your curiosity, and get ready to ride smarter and safer! If you don’t yet own a bike, you are still welcome to attend.
What to Expect:
Learn and practice essential safety skills on a guided bike ride.
Explore some essential commuting and safety gear
Get insights into planning efficient and safe bike routes.
Enjoy light refreshments as you connect with fellow cyclists.
