For Giving Tuesday, we’re going to BYOB – Build Your Own Basin + Bring Your Own Beer!
We’ve got an exclusive, outdoor event planned for you that’s fun, easy, and safe—to celebrate a year of stewarding in place and benefit WMG’s year-end fundraising campaign.
Bring your own beer, enjoy wood-fired pizza from Fiamme’s food truck or delicious Indian cuisine from Kababeque's food truck, and participate in a BYOB trivia game on the Living Lab plaza, led by Trevor Hare and Joaquin Murrieta!
Our BYOB with WMG event is split into two nights to ensure small groups: one on December 1st, the traditional Giving Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and a bonus night on Friday, December 4th. We’ll have two waves each night, starting at 5p.m. and 7p.m., limiting each wave to 25 people.
Tickets are $10, and with an additional $100 donation, you can take home a BYOB Kit or donate one to a limited-income family. The Build Your Own Basin Kit includes a native shade tree, wildflower seeds, a bag of organic mulch, and a rain gauge. All you need to do is dig your basin, and we’ve taken care of the rest!
For Giving Tuesday, we have a matching fund, so your gift will be doubled! Our goal is to raise $40,000 to support our community conservation and river restoration work.
