Agua es Vida: Living Lab & Learning Center Tour - September 16th

Come visit WMG’s Living Lab and Learning Center before heading over to the Agua es Vida Film Festival at the Loft! On this guided tour, you’ll learn about our rainwater harvesting systems, compost toilets, laundry-to-landscape greywater harvesting system, food forest, and more! The tour will be outside, so be prepared for the weather and to be standing or walking for the full tour time.

Tour highlight: We capture enough rainwater on site to support all of our indoor and outdoor water needs for our staff and guests for most of the year. You'll see our passive and active rainwater harvesting systems.

The Living Lab is also WMG's office headquarters and was named AZ’s Greenest Workplace in 2015 by Mrs. Green’s World. More than a dozen staff members, as well as docents and volunteers,  regularly make use of the native gardens, the composting toilet, outdoor shower, solar oven, and produce harvested from the food forest.
