Help beautify our rivers by removing invasive species!
We’re focusing on areas along our creeks where small patches of invasive Arundo have been spotted—and we need your help to clean it up and protect our arroyos, rivers, and creeks. This event will center around Arundo removal in Arcadia Wash, where a neighbor has spotted a few stands growing in the waterway.
We’ll provide all the tools and supplies you need, but feel free to bring your own gloves, water bottle, and loppers if you have them.
This event is organized through WMG’s River Run Network (RRN). Members work together to learn about and steward our creeks and rivers through creek walks, restoration activities, river clean-ups, and educational workshops. If you are not yet a member, we will add you to the RRN when you register for this event. Membership is free and includes a regular e-newsletter with upcoming events.
