Help Restore Isabella Lee Natural Preserve

Join WMG at Isabella Lee Natural Preserve to learn about river ecology and our work to enhance recharge into shallow groundwater aquifers and to control erosion at the confluence of Tanque Verde Creek and Agua Caliente Wash. WMG River Restoration Biologist Trevor Hare will lead a tour of the area and our work there, then participants will help to finish erosion control work using local rock to build Zuni bowls, one-rock dams and trincheras.

 

Directions: From midtown, take Tanque Verde Road east past Catalina Highway by one mile, turn right/south on Bonanza Avenue and drive 1/2 mile to the site.
