Did you know that you can earn hundreds of dollars in rebates while making your home and landscape more water-efficient?

Rainwater Harvesting Rebate

The Tucson Water Rainwater Harvesting Rebate will reimburse up to $2,000 for residential rainwater-harvesting systems. To qualify for the rainwater harvesting rebate, you must attend a class, submit an online application, and a project plan.

Greywater Harvesting Rebate

The Tucson Water Greywater Harvesting Rebate will reimburse up to $1,000 for residential greywater systems. To qualify for the greywater rebate, you must attend a class, submit an online application, and project plan.

How It Works

Watershed Management Group offers Tucson Water-approved rebate classes that teach you how to install rainwater harvesting and greywater systems--helping you conserve water, reduce your utility bills, and build a more resilient community. The class is the first step in a process toward completing your project and claiming your rebate from Tucson Water.

Take a Rebate Class

Attend a free, interactive workshop to learn about rainwater harvesting or greywater reuse. These classes cover system design, installation tips, and rebate eligibility requirements.

Design Your System

You can DIY your design or work with a professional to create a design that fits your needs.

Get Your Design Pre-Approved

After completing the class, you will be eligible to submit your design to Tucson Water's rebate program and have it pre-approved.

Install Your System

Use what you've learned to install your system at home yourself or hire a professional. WMG also offers hands-on workshops where you can gain installation experience. You have one year from pre-approval to install your system.

Schedule Inspection

Rainwater Harvesting installations will need to be inspected by Tucson Water before the final rebate amount is determined. Greywater systems may not require inspections.

Final Application

After the inspection is complete, you will be able to submit your final application to Tucson Water for your rebate.
