Help treat an important drainage on Las Cienegas National Conservation Area and learn about the climate-based challenges that practitioners are facing in this one-day Restoration Workshop with WMG! This work will help encourage infiltration and native plant growth in the area, as well as slow down erosion and preserve the connection between the channel and its floodplain.

Our goal is also to strengthen connections among restoration practitioners in the region and discuss novel restoration approaches that take into account future climate scenarios. We will discuss best practices for treating drainages and uplands and ways to apply these practices to support local economies in restoring watersheds and developing provisioning economies and food systems! This will be a physically distanced, mask-on event. This event is limited to 20 people.
