River Run Network Arundo Removal: Arcadia Wash

We look forward to cleaning up our local creeks with you by removing invasive species. This event will be outside and, while we try to minimize rough terrain, you will be walking across sandy, rocky, and possibly wet soils, navigating through riparian environments, using tools, and moving heavy Arundo stalks. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing for hiking outdoors, we will be walking in the creek, and you may get your feet wet if the creek is flowing, we suggest the following clothing and materials for these events: - Close-toed shoes - Long pants - Long sleeved shirt - Hat, sunscreen and sunglasses - Work gloves if you like (we will also provide these for you) - Bring a reusable water bottle with you and we will provide rainwater to refill during the event Also, please arrive on time as we will start our work after a short introduction and we don't want you to get left behind. If you are unable to attend an event for any reason, please respond to this email to cancel your registration to allow for others on the waitlist to attend.
