We are excited to have you join our Flow365 Monitoring Team, learn about our rivers, and how you can help to reach our 50-year vision of seeing our rivers flow in Tucson again through the data you'll collect. Here are some documents that will help you get a head start in the program: 1. For this program, we ask all volunteers to adopt a site that they will collect data at. There is a list of sites we have that you can see using the link below. Please reveiw this before the training and have an idea of which site you are interested in. You can see all of our current Flow365 sites on this map (https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/1/edit?mid=1AmRflubbfkWzXI3efICZSdlN_utwcxPP&usp=sharing). 2. Please read and fill out the commitment form for the Flow365 Monitoring Program, if you are able, bring this with you to the training or email it to Lauren Monheim at: lmonheim@watershedmg.org. (https://watershedmg.org/sites/default/files/documents/flow365_monitor_contract_updated_dec_2023.pdf). 3. We use an app called Survey123 for data collection, you are welcome to download this app using the instructions linked here (https://watershedmg.org/sites/default/files/document/Flow365%20Monitoring%20Survey%20User%20Guide_Nov2021.pdf)

Join the Flow365 Monitoring Program! WMG is searching for community members in Tucson and the surrounding area to help monitor flow in our creeks and rivers. At this training,  Lauren Knight, WMG's River Run Network Program Manager will introduce you to our 50-year vision of flowing creeks and rivers, supported by our growing River Run Network, and explain how your involvement can help us, the City, and the County protect and restore flows across the basin.

By attending this training, you’ll be joining the volunteer program. For all volunteers in the program, WMG asks for a one-year commitment of regular monitoring at a site of your choosing, which includes one to four times a month during the dry season and frequent monitoring during the rainy seasons (at least once a week). This data is unique to our program, no one else is collecting this information on our creeks and rivers. Your data will help us track how many days our rivers flow each year to track progress towards our river restoration goals.

This event is organized through the River Run Network. If you are not yet a member, we will add you to the Network when you register for this event. RRN membership is free and gives you access to exclusive creek walks, river restoration workshops, river clean-ups, and advocacy opportunities.
