8th Annual Tanque Verde Flow & Feast

We look forward to hosting you for our 8th Annual Tanque Verde Flow & Feast. This free, family-friendly event features creek walks, a catered dinner with local flavors, and fun nature-based activities to do along the creek.  This event will be outside and, while we try to minimize rough terrain, you will be walking across sandy, rocky, and getting your feet wet navigating through riparian environments. Please note that if you arrive after 5:30pm to the event, there will be directional signage guiding you to the event location. Please be prepared to be outdoors for the event and bring a water bottle, chair to sit in if you'd like, and a headlamp.

Join us for WMG’s 8th Annual Tanque Verde Flow and Feast, an annual celebration of our River Run Network program. This free, family-friendly event features creek walks, a catered dinner with local flavors, and fun nature-based activities to do along the creek. 

Like many creeks and rivers in the Tucson region, this sensitive riparian area once flowed for most of the year. Today, we are seeing seasonal flows return to this area of the creek. During this fun and enlightening event, we will explore our connections to flowing desert creeks and discover ways we - as a community - can help restore them through WMG's River Run Network.
