| River Run Network Creek Walk: Sunset Stroll from the Tanque Verde Creek & Rillito Confluence to the Elderberry Forest | We look forward to sharing the beauty of our local creeks with you. This event will be outside and, while we try to minimize rough terrain, you will be walking across sandy, rocky, and possibly wet soils and navigating through riparian environments. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing for hiking outdoors, we will be walking in the creek, and you may get your feet wet since the creek is flowing. Also, please arrive on time as we will start our creek walk after a short introduction and we don't want you to get left behind. If you are unable to attend an event for any reason, please respond to this email to cancel your registration to allow for others on the waitlist to attend. (read more...) |

This class does not focus on high-water use, exotic, or other introduced food producing plants. | 9th Annual Tanque Verde Flow & Feast | We look forward to hosting you for our 9th Annual Tanque Verde Flow & Feast. This free, family-friendly event features creek walks, a catered dinner from Tumerico with vegan and vegetarian options, and fun nature-based activities to do along the creek. This event will be outside and, while we try to minimize rough terrain, you will be walking across sandy, rocky, and getting your feet wet navigating through riparian environments. Please note that if you arrive after 5:30pm to the event, there will be directional signage guiding you to the event location.
