20th Anniversary Party
It’s WMG’s 20-year anniversary, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! After 20 years of hard work and big accomplishments to care for our watershed, we’re going to have a blowout party Friday night at our Living Lab in the Palo Verde neighborhood. Everyone is invited to this party, with activities for all ages, and no cover.
Our rainwater-fed Living Lab will be decked out for a festive Friday night party, featuring live music with DJ Dirtyverbs, food trucks, rainwater refreshments and beer garden, and many ways to connect with community and our amazing Sonoran Desert land, water, and plants.
Learn how to build a simple rainwater collecting basin, and take home a mini rain garden kit. Participate in our monsoon and river art exhibit in the new Learning Center. Learn about Southern Arizona’s creek and river ecology on our creek hop.
The party is also the grand opening of our new Learning Center! Get a tour of all the green features of this new educational space, as well as the rest of the Living Lab.
