Learn to Plant the Rain at the Montessori Academy

Join Watershed Management Group and the Montessori Academy for a hands-on water harvesting workshop. Through WMG’s Schoolyard Water Education program we will transform an existing turf area into water harvesting basins and plant new vegetation to capture the overflow runoff from the existing 1500 gallon rain water cistern. Participants will learn about sizing water-harvesting basins for roof runoff, and proper planting techniques.
