(Español abajo) Watershed Management Group (WMG) invites the community to celebrate Earth Day with kids’ activities, live entertainment, food for purchase and more on Saturday, April 16th from 8a.m.-12p.m. at the Living Lab and Learning Center. In addition to ongoing educational booths and opportunities to explore the Living Lab, WMG will teach free workshops on how to plant your own rain garden for kids and adults at 8:30a.m., 9:45a.m., and 11a.m. WMG will provide 50 rain garden kits consisting of a native tree, a shrub, native grasses, wildflower seeds, mulch, and WMG’s bilingual Build Your Own Basin zine for workshop participants to take home to build their own rain garden. WMG will also offer bilingual entertainment, with three live performances of environmental stories in both English and Spanish. We are so excited to invite the community to the Living Lab for our biggest Family Saturday yet!

Watershed Management Group invita a la comunidad a celebrar el Día de la Tierra con actividades para niños, entretenimiento en vivo, comida para comprar y más el sábado 16 de abril, de 8 a. m. al mediodía en el Living Lab and Learning Center. Además de los puestos educativos continuos y las oportunidades para explorar Living Lab, WMG impartirá talleres gratuitos sobre cómo plantar su jardín de lluvia para niños y adultos a las 8:30a.m., 9:45a.m. y 11a.m. WMG proporcionará 50 kits de jardín de lluvia que consisten de un árbol nativo, un arbusto, pastos nativos, semillas de flores silvestres, mantillo y la revista bilingüe “Cuencamelo Todo” de WMG para que los participantes del taller se lleven a casa para construir su jardín de lluvia.
