Ensure the highest quality of water in your tank and prolong the life of your rain tank investment! Join us for this new class to learn how to make your rainwater collection systems last. You'll learn best management practices for your plastic cisterns. We'll share design principles that can affect maintenance needs down the line, as well as how to address maintenance issues as they arise. Topics include mosquito breeding, leaks, algal blooms, tank painting to prevent sunlight UV damage, interior cleaning techniques and more!

Please note this class primarily focuses on care and maintenance of plastic tanks, not metal cisterns. However, some of the same principles may apply. This fully online presentation will have multiple opportunities for Q&A throughout and at the end.

This field studies is offered for free thanks to grant funding from Arizona State Forestry Division.
