Virtual Field Studies Class: How to Install a Laundry-to-Landscape Greywater System

Event Date:
Wednesday, November 11, 2020 - 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Event Address:
Virtual Classroom

This virtual class is for people ready to learn how to plan and install their own greywater Laundry-to-Landscape (L2L) system.

The class includes:

  • an overview of greywater systems and the difference between L2L and gravity-based systems
  • how to assess the accessibility of your laundry machine for greywater and plan on diverting to your landscape
  • how to plan the layout of the distribution and greywater outlets in your landscape

We will introduce you to the plumbing components and best practices for your own installation through a presentation format, with several opportunities for questions throughout, and a more conversational Q&A session at the end.

If you purchase an L2L kit before or within two weeks of the course we will discount $10 off this training. Visit watershedmg.org/services/home/greywater-kit or contact calcorn@watershedmg.org to purchase a kit. Kits are for pick-up only and will not be shipped.

This class does not fulfill the requirements for the Tucson Water Greywater Rebate. Find the schedule for the Tucson Water Greywater Rebate Classes here: watershedmg.org/event
