Learn about Tucson's riparian gems, WMG's River Run Network movement, and how you and your neighbors can join us to help restore groundwater levels and flow to our rivers! In this exclusive creek walk for River Run Network members, we're exploring one of Southern Arizona's hidden gems!
Ciénega Creek is home to Gila topminnows, lowland leopard frogs, gray hawks, coatis and more. Bring your binoculars and wading shoes as the hike will be wet and there are birds galore. Watershed Management Group’s River Restoration Biologist Trevor Hare and Executive Director Lisa Shipek lead the walk.
