Did you know native fish have reappeared in the Santa Cruz River? Or, that dragonflies are an emerging ecotourism attraction? Come learn from Pima County Regional Flood Control District's Evan Canfield and from Sonoran Institute's Claire Zugmeyer about the Living River reports, recent planning, restoration efforts, and the re-emergence of endangered native species and progress towards improving river health. WMG Policy and Technical Director Catlow Shipek will facilitate and share updates on how this fits into a developing watershed plan to restore Tucson's rivers.

Directions to the site will be emailed to you upon your registration for the walk.

This is an exclusive event for River Run Network members. If you are not yet a member, when you sign up for this creek walk, we will add you to the Network! Learn more about how you can take action at home and in your watershed to recharge groundwater and restore our heritage of flowing creeks and rivers.
