Build Your Own Basin: Take Action!

Join other River Run Network members in building a raingarden on Saturday September 26th. While we can’t all get together, we can each work in our yard, and collectively make a positive impact for our watershed. Whether you plan out your basin, get the digging started, do rockwork or planting, we want to see your progress! If you haven’t yet, sign up for our Build Your Own Basin Virtual Workshop, to get the instructions and inspiration you need to create your own raingarden. Share your projects on social media and spread the word with #StewardInPlace and #RiverRunNetwork.

This is one of the Steward In Place Triple Crown events! To earn the Triple Crown, you need to participate in three of our summer series events and send us a photo of you participating for each event. Just send an email with a photo and description of what you did to RRN@watershedmg.org. Everyone who earns the Triple Crown will get a "Release the Beavers" mug and a personal invitation to join WMG on an exclusive beaver field trip in the San Pedro River in the winter. We will also be compiling all the photos and stories to share back with our members in upcoming newsletters. We are excited to feature you!

This event is organized through the River Run Network. If you are not yet a member, we will add you to the Network when you register for this event. RRN membership is free and gives you access to exclusive creek walks, river restoration workshops, river clean-ups, and advocacy opportunities.
