Steward Your Streets Virtual Workshop with Catlow Shipek

Registration is closed for this event

Streets in Tucson are undergoing an exciting makeover – from green streets to the new complete streets initiative – your neighborhood streets can work for you! Learn about efforts to transform your streets to linear parks; shady places for walking, running, and biking; as well as places to slow down and interact with neighbors. With over a dozen years of green infrastructure experience, WMG co-founder Catlow Shipek will highlight city programs, neighborhood resources, and tips to steward your own neighborhood streets. Green infrastructure is not only great for our streets—it supports our creeks—by reducing pollution in our water bodies and infiltrating stormwater to support groundwater recharge.

This event is organized through the River Run Network. If you are not yet a member, we will add you to the Network when you register for this event. RRN membership is free and gives you access to exclusive creek walks, river restoration workshops, river clean-ups, and advocacy opportunities.
