River Run Network Creek Walk: Atterbury Wash

Explore a hidden gem, Attuebury Wash, that maintains its more natural form through Lincoln Park. You will see an established restoration project, started over a decade ago, implemented by Tucson Audubon. The riparian area has been enhanced with natural channel design and restoration of native plant species. Tucson Audubon staff will help lead the tour and share their perspective on creating wildlife habitat. Learn what you can do to help restore Tucson’s arroyos, creeks, and rivers as part of the River Run Network as well as how this work is expanding with students from Santa Rita High School.
