This event registration is now closed.
From low- maintenance shade-giving rain gardens to urban homesteads, the tour will feature an integrated array of affordable green-living practices including chicken coops; solar energy and a variety of composting systems; and, of course, water-harvesting systems.
The cost for this unique event is $10 per person or $5 per person for bicycle riders, public transportation users, and those sharing a ride in a personal car. Free for children under 14.
Advance sign up required for the self-paced tour. Tour participants will receive a PDF brochure sent out by email before the event, please insure that you input your email address correctly in the sign up form. The brochure will include maps and a brief description of the features at each property. You will need to register before 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 20 to recieve a brochure via email.
A leisurely group bicycle tour will be led by BICAS and will leave from BICAS (44 W. 6th Street) at 10 a.m. No prior sign up required for the group tour. Payment of $10 can be made on the day for this group tour by cash or check only.
