WMG Tucson Co-op Bushman Tank Installation Workshop

Join the Tucson Co-op for a midweek cistern installation. Come and learn about best practices and integrated design for cistern installations. The installation process for Bushmann tanks is different from other kinds of plastic tanks, and workshop leader Kyle Brown will explain these differences. The 660 gallon tank will to provide water to a future vegetable garden. This workshop has multiple benefits. Participants will learn how to install a cistern and earn will Co-op hours. The homeowner will be able to grow fresh vegetables to feed her family with a renewable fresh rain water source. In addition the workshop will also lead to habitat restoration, as the savings made on the home owners water bill will go towards funding restoration of the beautiful Atterbury wash near Tucson through our Conserve to Enhance program.  For further information contact Rhiwena Slack the Co-op coordinator at co-op@watershedmg.org / 520-396-3266
