9th Annual Homescape Harvest Tour

Enjoy a virtual walk-through of well-designed, beautiful, and affordable features to harvest water, energy, and food and get ideas for your dream yard!

Through video tours, you’ll explore home landscapes throughout Tucson and learn from the homeowners firsthand, in the videos and at an exclusive panel, hosted on YouTube live. Experience rain gardens, cisterns, passive & active solar systems, greywater systems, composting toilets, shady oases, lush food gardens, wildlife habitat, and much more. Practices will range in size and cost, and many sites feature repurposed and recycled materials.

In addition, some homes will be available to view in a safe, socially-distant, in-person format on Saturday, October 17th from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. Following this, there will be a virtual panel on Saturday at 3:30pm with some of the homeowners and industry professionals featuring a Q&A.

All in-person sites will have a volunteer stationed at the entrance to the property controlling flow of individuals entering the site and ensuring everyone entering is wearing a mask. The homeowner will set the appropriate number of people allowed at their household at a time. Each site will have a bottle of hand sanitizer and masks available for use at the entrance.

Embrace sustainable living even more by joining the BICAS bike tour of the HHT sites! The tour will start at the Living Lab and Learning Center (1137 N Dodge Blvd) at 10a.m. and make a loop visiting a few homes before returning to the Living Lab around 2:30p.m. Contact BICAS for your bike repair needs two weeks before the tour to be sure your bike is ready in time!

Tickets are $15/person. Proceeds directly benefit WMG's Green Living Co-op program. We'll "see" you at the tour!
