Eat Your Shade at the Mesquite Pancake Breakfast

Edible Shade Mesquite Pancake Breakfast
Sunday, March 26, 2017
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
1137 N Dodge Blvd

It’s that time again! Come join us for a fun-filled morning as we celebrate the delicious shade of mesquite, pomegranate, olive and other edible native and desert-adapted trees. Enjoy an artisan market and hands-on learning activities as you explore sustainability practices in action at WMG’s Living Lab and Learning Center. And come hungry—we’ll be serving up local mesquite pancakes, fresh off the griddle!

Edible Shade is fun for the whole family. Your junior water harvesters will love exploring our Raindrop Retreat / La Casa del Chorrito playhouse. Arrive at 9:00 AM to beat the rush and be first in line!

3 Pancakes + drink for $7. Non-gluten and vegan options available. Drink options include coffe, tea, and juice. Only 500 tickets are available, so purchase early or risk missing out. Notice: Unlike previous years, tickets will NOT be available at the door if we sell out in advance!

Make a gift of $50 or more and take home a bag of our custom mesquite heritage wheat pancake mix.

Pre-pay for pancakes

Exo Roast Co. will have special rainwater toddy! And Peddler on the Path will be here serving up hot espresso drinks too.

Be one of the first 100 guests to bring your TEP bill and receive a free shade tree courtesy of Tucson Electric Power. The native tree selection includes: Foothills Palo Verde, Sweet Katie Burgundy Desert Willow, and Netleaf Hackberry provided by Civano Nursery.

You can enjoy live music on the Garden Plaza!
