Watershed Management Group’s International program works with communities around the world to ensure access to water and sanitation, to safeguard public health, and to locally manage natural resources for sustainable community development and the eradication of poverty.
We provide assessment and training to community members, farmers’ groups, other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and government agencies in:
| Rainwater harvesting | Ecological restoration |
| Watershed management | Agroforesty & reforestation |
| Groundwater recharge | Community mobilization |
| Health and hygiene promotion | Sanitation & solid waste management |
| Sustainable agriculture | Spring protection & development |
| Drinking water systems | Water quality testing |
Our projects span seven countries across four continents with active programs in Burkina Faso, India, and Mexico.
Wherever we work, we are committed to grassroots impact that focuses on a demand-driven, community-led approach. This means we facilitate a participatory process where:
1. People identify their own challenges.
2. Stakeholders collaborate to design solutions.
3. Communities implement and manage projects long term.
