On September 6, WMG will be hosting a cleanup of High School Wash. High School Wash is a couple blocks south of the UA campus and flows east to west through Rincon Heights neighborhood. As part of our new Rincon Heights water quality project, we'll be cleaning the wash to create a base line for monitoring water quality at the neighborhood scale. Water quality is not only a concern because of the litter coming in from the streets, but has also suffered from people dumping everything from garbage bags, furniture and household appliances into the wash. Be prepared to get wet and dirty at this event.
