Ward 6 is making their council office a community water harvesting site!  WMG will be leading the very first workshop at the council office on Saturday, September 6th, from 7am to 11am.  This will be a hands-on workshop to create water harvesting earthworks.  Most of the basins will be pre-dug with a backhoe, so the workshop participants will be focusing on shaping the basins and berms, planting native plants, and mulching.  Learn the simple techniques of water harvesting design and implementation while you participate in this valuable demonstration project.  Space is limited to 25 people.
