WMG Phoenix Co-op Earthworks Workshop

Join your fellow Co-op members and learn how to shape the earth to capture rainwater that passively flows from the rooftops and landscape. You will help shape the basins, plant the plants, and spread a layer of wood chip mulch to retain the moisture. You'll also have the opportunity to see an existing rainwater-harvesting system that captures run-off from the neighbor's carport, a Laundry to Landscape (L2L) and a gravity-fed greywater system; an outdoor shower; and a compost system that is integrated into the chicken coop.
