Planting the Water at River Road Gardens, Part I - A WMG Community Workshop

Located at River Road Gardens - hosted on the Waldorf School Campus at River Road near Alvernon.
River Road Gardens is integrating stormwater harvesting features to grow and promote a bountiful wildlife farm perimeter. Come volunteer and learn how stormwater features with native plants to promote wildlife can be integrated into a biodynamic farm setting. Expert WMG instructors Catlow Shipek and Trevor Hare will guide participants with completing the water harvesting features and native tree plantings. Biodynamic farmers Jon and Emily will also be sharing their vision and practices with participants.
