Schoolyard Grant Workshop: Water Harvesting and Wildlife Habitat

The Schoolyard Grant Workshop will be a 2 hour workshop with Watershed Management Group that will cover the following: 

  • Grant funding and application process details
  • Water harvesting 101: principles and best practices 
  • Urban wildlife habitat: native plants and other habitat elements to attract birds, butterflies, lizards, pollinator insects and more!
  • Tour of water harvesting feauters at the WMG Living Lab and Learning Center 
  • In order to be eligible for grant funding, at least one teacher that is part of the project team is required to attend this workshop.  In addition, we encourage school administrators, facilities staff, and parent volunteers to attend.
